CARD: RED BARREL

CLASSIFICATION
Red Wine Appellation Lanzarote

GRAPE VARIETY
100 % Listán Negro.

WINEMAKING METHOD
Harvest is carried out at the end of August in 20kg crates. We only use grapes from specific vineyards where the fruit is smaller and the concentration higher. After destemming, the whole grapes are placed in the fermentation casks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and the wine is pumped over daily.
After being opened, malolactic fermentation begins and the wine is then transferred to French and American Oak casks to mature for 4 months after which is it is bottled and left to settle for another 4 months.
