CARD: RED BARREL COLLECTION
CLASSIFICATION
Red wine - Appellation: Lanzarote
GRAPE VARIETY
85% Black Listán, 15% Syrah.
WINEMAKING METHOD
Made from our family vineyard grapes. After a complete destemming, we carry out a pre-fermentation maceration (at 8 ºC) to attain more body and a more vivid colour. Fermentation at 25 ºC. Removal from the tanks after a short maceration once fermentation is complete.
After malolactic fermentation, transfer to French and American oak barrels for six months aging.
BASIC PRINCIPLES
Achieving a mature and full-bodied but fruity and aromatic wine, made more complex by the contribution of the oak used during aging for at least six months and that expresses the potential and uniqueness of our volcanic Black Listan grapes, but enhanced by the Syrah.
